Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, experienced **Forklift Operator** to join our team, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials across our facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks, transporting raw materials or finished products, and maintaining inventory accuracy using RF scanning equipment.
The core goal is to ensure materials are always available in the right place to achieve maximum operational efficiency while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities & Duties
- **Safe Operation:** Safely operate a forklift (sit-down/stand-up) to move, stack, and load materials in a fast-paced environment.
- **Logistics Handling:** Load and unload delivery trucks, containers, and trailers, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- **Inventory Accuracy:** Use RF scanners to accurately track, count, and document incoming and outgoing products.
- **Maintenance:** Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance (checking oil, water, battery) on equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
- **Safety Compliance:** Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety procedures to prevent accidents.
- **Order Picking:** Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- **Warehouse Maintenance:** Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements & Qualifications
- **Education:** High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- **Certification:** Valid, OSHA-compliant forklift operator certification.
- **Experience:** Minimum [1–2] years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
