Forklift Opertor
Job Responsibilities: *
- Operating the forklift in a proper manner and ensuring that no accidents / damages are caused due to negligent driving.
- Ensuring that the forklift is optimally utilized and regularly maintained.
- Accurately segregating items and carrying out put away in the proper locations to enable quick and effective retrieval.
- Adhering to DSV policies and procedures for all practices so that business is handled efficiently.
- Controls and drives a forklift truck to move packed food materials to specific areas within a warehouse.
- Elevating potential problems, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement to supervisor.
- Ensure to stacks materials at the specified locations on a safe manner.
- Performing any other related duties/projects assigned by Supervisor from time to time to meet business exigencies.
Qualifications & Characteristics: Education – High School
Work Experience – Mandatory 2 years forklift experience in UAE
Specific Skills –
- Valid UAE Forklift Licence
- Basic Communication Skills
- Excellent hand/eye co-ordination
- Aptitude towards safety
