Your Role

  • Forklift Operator, Order Picker, and Scale Clerk 👀
  • Forklift Operator 🚜 (Experience MANDATORY)
  • Load flatbed trailers according to operational needs
  • Transport various materials and/or supplies required for operations
  • Inspect equipment before the start of each shift and perform operator changeovers as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness of the premises and equipment to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Review completed work from the previous shift and upcoming tasks based on priorities set by the production supervisor
  • Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical issues
  • Operate the forklift safely and diligently
  • Demonstrate a high level of vigilance to prevent accidents and/or tip-overs (pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks, and other machinery)
  • Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limitations
  • Outdoor work
  • Order Preparation 🏋️♂️
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant, manually or using mechanical equipment
  • Perform a complete inspection of finished products
  • Sort, package, crate, and wrap materials and products
  • Perform any other related labor or general work tasks
  • Scale Clerk ⏱️
  • Record the weight of all incoming loads
  • Enter reports and data into the computer system as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Communicate with yard personnel, customer service, production staff, and other relevant stakeholders as needed

  • This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
