Role overview

Assembly and testing

• Perform assembly, repair, and mechanical, 10 kV, high-voltage, functional, and resistance tests on GIS bays and modules.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, bills of materials, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
• Fulfil production work packages, self-check results, and complete checklists and protocols.

Quality, equipment, and teamwork

• Maintain and calibrate test equipment; handle factory equipment and tools appropriately.
• Escalate quality issues, record deviations, support root-cause analysis, and document quality problems or non-conformances.
• Gather product-improvement feedback and collaborate with assembly, testing, logistics, and other stakeholders.

Safety and improvement

• Follow safety, quality, environmental, recycling, and housekeeping rules; report safety irregularities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean culture and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Take responsibility for safety and integrity and carry out other management-assigned tasks relevant to the role.

Background

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 4–5 years of production-facility assembly and testing experience is required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and material lists is required.
• Understanding of lean concepts and minimizing the seven wastes is required.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional interaction with diverse groups are expected.
