Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished protein and supplement products, including powders and blends.
• Verify ingredients and materials such as proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, flavors, sweeteners, and packaging.
• Ensure production-floor hygiene, sanitation, and good manufacturing practices.
• Monitor production processes, identify issues, and support corrective actions.
• Develop and implement systems, SOPs, checklists, and workflow improvements.
• Maintain quality records, batch documentation, and basic traceability.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams and train staff on quality and hygiene procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Direct protein or supplement manufacturing experience is preferred; related dairy, flavors, food manufacturing, beverage, nutraceutical, or food technology experience is also acceptable.
• Strong research-based supplement product knowledge may be considered when candidates demonstrate confidence in the field.
• Solid understanding of ingredients used in protein and dietary supplement manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in manufacturing.
• Confidence working with supplement and sports-nutrition products.
• Willingness and ability to improve systems and processes for better production flow.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a production environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Food safety, GMP, HACCP, or dietary supplement certificates or training are preferred, not required.
• Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or related education or training is preferred, not required.
• Prior QC/QA or production experience with powders, proteins, or supplements is preferred, not required.
• Experience writing or updating SOPs and production documentation is preferred, not required.

Compensation

• The posting lists AED 2,000–3,000 per month.
