Role Description
This full-time Food Server role at Indulge in Chocolate is an on-site position based in Qatar.
The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
Responsibilities
include taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages promptly, handling special requests, and ensuring tables are clean, organized, and properly set.
The role also involves coordinating with kitchen staff, checking orders for accuracy and presentation, and processing payments in a courteous and efficient manner.
The Food Server will maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, follow company policies, and contribute to a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
- Practical experience or familiarity with food & beverage and food service operations, including serving, handling orders, and basic food safety.
- Basic cooking or food preparation skills are an advantage, especially in a dessert or chocolate-focused environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Qatar, including standing for extended periods and handling busy service times.
- Previous experience as a server or in hospitality is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments; ability to follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
