Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Food Server will welcome guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure prompt, courteous service throughout the dining experience.
Responsibilities
include setting up and clearing tables, serving dishes and beverages in accordance with hygiene and safety standards, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly.
The Food Server will handle basic customer inquiries, address concerns, and escalate issues when needed to maintain guest satisfaction.
The role also involves maintaining cleanliness in the service area, following company policies and procedures, and supporting team members during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Practical experience or knowledge in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.
- Basic Cooking or food handling knowledge is an advantage, especially for understanding menu items and special requests.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hotel environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely.
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards, and basic health and safety practices.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in the UAE are a plus.
