The Food Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining food safety and hygiene programs across all stages of sweets and confectionery production.
The role ensures compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies while safeguarding product quality, consumer health, and brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of food production, storage, preparation, and distribution facilities.
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
- Implement and maintain food safety management systems such as HACCP.
- Investigate food safety incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformities.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collect samples and coordinate laboratory testing when required.
- Maintain food safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct employee food safety and hygiene training.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper sanitation, pest control, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Stay updated on food safety legislation and industry best practices.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Should be Available In Qatar, with valid QID + NOC, Mandatory to change sponsorship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related field.
- **Willing to join immediately / 1 month notice**
- 2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in sweets, chocolate, bakery, or confectionery production.
- HACCP certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Pay: Up to QAR3,500.00 per month
