Food Process Engineer

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields;
• Provincial (P. Eng) designation or eligibility;
• 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in process design for the food, beverage, or biotech industry;
• Experience in fluid and bulk materials handling processes, including process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and P&IDs
• Experience designing sanitary process systems, including piping, vessels, and CIP systems;
• Familiarity with CFIA and HACCP requirements;
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing (an asset);
• Knowledge of post-implementation continuous improvement efforts and methodology;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit;
• Flexibility to travel to manufacturing sites as needed;
