Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for an FM Engineer at AG Facilities Solutions.
The FM Engineer will oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of buildings and facilities under their care.
Core responsibilities
include conducting inspections, supervising maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
The FM Engineer will also play a key role in troubleshooting, ensuring efficient use of resources, and implementing best practices in facility management.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in facility management systems, building services, and maintenance operations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Ability to manage contracts and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality assurance standards
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage staff and projects efficiently
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for facility management and project tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional certifications in facility management or related disciplines (e.g., FM certification) are advantageous
- Previous experience in an FM Engineer role, particularly within the UAE or GCC region, is highly valued
