The employer seeks an experienced FM Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
The role covers facilities management, MEP operations, building maintenance, mechanical systems, technical teams, and facility assets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, pumps, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
- Plan and monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance; troubleshoot faults and resolve maintenance requests.
- Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and service providers; inspect sites and ensure compliance with HSE standards and client requirements.
- Manage schedules, work orders, equipment records, and reports using CAFM/CMMS systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, energy efficiency, spare parts, and maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with clients and operations stakeholders and maintain assets to operational and contractual requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, MEP maintenance, or building operations.
- Technical expertise in HVAC, chillers, pumps, plumbing, and mechanical building services.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and technical team supervision.
- Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems, maintenance reporting, and asset management.
- Knowledge of HSE procedures and facilities management standards; strong communication, problem-solving, coordination, and client management skills.
- Previous FM experience in Qatar is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 5,000–10,000 per month.
