Position: Flyboard Instructor And Flyboard ExpertJob Summary

Key Responsibilities1. Flyboard Operations

• Prepare and inspect all flyboard equipment before each session.
• Assist customers with fitting boots, helmets, life jackets, and other safety equipment.
• Conduct flyboard training sessions for beginners and experienced riders.
• Operate and coordinate with the Personal Watercraft (PWC/Jet Ski) operator controlling the flyboard system.
• Monitor participants throughout the activity and provide continuous guidance.

2. Safety Management

• Conduct comprehensive safety briefings before each session.
• Assess weather, sea, and water conditions prior to operations.
• Ensure all activities comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Stop operations immediately if conditions become unsafe.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or equipment malfunctions.
• Administer first aid and CPR when required until emergency services arrive.

3. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance

• Perform daily inspections of:
• Flyboard unit
• Hoses
• Nozzles
• Boots and bindings
• Helmets
• Life jackets
• Jet ski connection system
• Report equipment defects immediately.
• Clean, store, and maintain equipment after each use.
• Maintain equipment inspection and maintenance records.

4. Customer Service

• Welcome guests professionally and explain the flyboarding experience.
• Ensure customers understand all operating and safety instructions.
• Encourage and coach participants to build confidence.
• Maintain a friendly, patient, and professional attitude.
• Handle customer concerns courteously and efficiently.

5. Operational Support

• Coordinate with the Jet Ski operator and beach crew.
• Prepare the operating area before activities begin.
• Ensure launch and recovery areas remain safe and clear.
• Assist in organizing daily activity schedules.

6. Documentation

• Maintain daily operational logs.
• Record equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Report incidents, accidents, or near misses.
• Ensure all operational records are complete and accurate.

7. Compliance

• Comply with all UAE maritime regulations and Coast Guard requirements.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Participate in regular safety drills and refresher training.
• Maintain valid professional certifications and licenses.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Flyboard Instructor or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Competent swimmer with strong water rescue skills.
• Knowledge of Personal Watercraft (Jet Ski) operations.
• Good command of spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor marine environments.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in commercial flyboard operations.
• Experience in water sports instruction and customer training.
• Knowledge of UAE maritime safety regulations.
