Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily production and shop-floor operations to achieve production targets.
- Keep production machinery and processes efficient and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and support timely resolution.
- Monitor product quality and ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Work with the production team and support process, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience, preferably in steel manufacturing, metal manufacturing, or metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of metal/steel production processes, machinery, and quality requirements.
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency using production management software and tools.
