Overview
Tips: Design, develop, simulate, and validate the AI-enabled flight control (AIFC) algorithms for DTI UAV platforms.
Responsible for GNC (guidance, navigation, and control) law development, simulation, HIL integration, and flight test data analysis.
Responsibilities
▸ Develop flight control laws (inner loop, outer loop, guidance) for fixed-wing, VTOL, and hybrid UAV platforms
▸ Build 6-DOF simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and integrate aerodynamic databases
▸ Develop and validate AI/ML components for adaptive control, fault detection, and autonomous mission management
▸ Manage HIL bench development and autopilot hardware integration (Pixhawk/custom ECU)
▸ Produce GNC parameter specification and tuning documentation
▸ Collaborate with avionics team on autopilot firmware interface requirements
▸ Plan and analyse flight test data to refine control gains and stability margins
▸ Maintain configuration control of flight control software baseline
Qualifications
MEng/MSc Aerospace, Control Engineering, or Computer Science · 4+ years GNC/autopilot development · MATLAB/Simulink Aerospace Toolbox mastery
