The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover assigned posts and shifts as needed (days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, weekends).
• Control access to the facility: check IDs/badges, manage visitors, and monitor entry/exit points.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, checking doors, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Observe and report security or safety issues; respond to alarms and incidents.
• Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to employees and visitors.
• Follow all site-specific post orders and company policies (source: Group Health and Safety Policy).
