Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Manager role based in Mecca.
The Fleet Manager oversees daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, dispatch coordination, maintenance planning, and ensuring vehicle availability to meet service demand.
Responsibilities include monitoring fleet performance, analyzing utilization and cost data, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
The role manages compliance with transportation and DOT-related regulations, coordinates with maintenance and operations teams, and ensures that all vehicles meet company standards.
The Fleet Manager also leads and develops fleet staff, maintains accurate records and reports, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in line with Kabi CTC’s service and technology goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations, including scheduling, vehicle lifecycle management, and utilization optimization.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and improving operational processes.
- Working knowledge of DOT Regulations and relevant local transportation laws, with the ability to maintain strict compliance.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret fleet data, monitor KPIs, control costs, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Proven experience in fleet or transportation management, preferably in taxi, mobility, or logistics environments.
- Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Comfort using fleet management systems, GPS/telematics tools, and standard office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Mecca, manage shifting operational priorities, and respond promptly to fleet issues.
