Overview
1- Ensure Full Fleet Compliance : (SASO, MOT, TGA, ADR, ISO) (TMP/TERP).
2- Fleet Maintenance Supervision (Preventive & Corrective)
Plan, monitor, and control preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring vehicle reliability, renewal of licenses, insurance, and tankers inspections (valve condition, hoses, spill kits, fire extinguishers, placards, and labeling), and zero overdue PM.
3- Third-Party Transporter Maintenance & Compliance Audits
Audit external transporters’ fleet condition, maintenance records, and safety equipment to match company standards.
4- Driver Compliance & Training Control
Ensure full driver compliance by validating licenses and hazardous material permits, enforcing mandatory external safety and defensive driving training, and establishing a structured internal training program.
5- Accident, Breakdown & Incident Investigation
Report all accidents & Lead root cause investigations for accidents, roadside breakdowns, leaks, and violations, and implement CAPA actions.
6- GPS and telematics systems:
Monitoring GPS tracking for own and third-party fleets to monitor speed, driving behavior, route compliance, and ensure full operational and safety control.
7- Emergency Response Readiness & Crisis Management
Lead fleet emergency preparedness for chemical spills, road accidents, fires, and breakdowns, ensure availability of emergency equipment, conduct periodic drills with drivers and transporters, and coordinate with civil defense, regulators, and internal HSE teams during major incidents.
8- Fleet Performance Reporting, Cost Control & Audit Support:
Monitor fleet safety, compliance, maintenance, accident, and driver behavior KPIs, control maintenance and incident-related costs, and provide full support for internal and external audits (ISO, HSE, Clients, and Regulatory Authorities) with accurate reporting and documentation.
Qualifications
and Education
Include any specialized education and qualifications ESSENTIALLY REQUIRED to be able to perform the job.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Management.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fleet operations, transport compliance, or maintenance supervision.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in chemical transportation, bulk tankers, or hazardous materials logistics.
- Experience working in KSA or GCC regulations
Skills
- and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of chemical tanker safety, hazardous material control, and emergency handling.
- Understanding of preventive & corrective maintenance systems (PM & CM).
- Full capability in driver compliance, permits, and safety training control.
- Ability to work under pressure in high-risk transport environments.
- Training and Certification
- Defensive Driving Instructor or Trainer Certification.
- Hazardous Material Transportation Certification (ADR awareness)
- Emergency Response & Spill Control Training.
