About This Role
Overview
- Supervise the gym floor to ensure safe and proper use of equipment
- Conduct fitness assessments and understand members’ health goals
- Design and implement personalized workout programs
- Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and provide guidance to members
- Monitor members during workouts to prevent injuries
- Provide one-on-one training or group fitness sessions when required
- Ensure all gym equipment is clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly
- Enforce gym rules, safety standards, and hygiene practices
- Offer advice on basic nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR if needed
- Maintain records of client progress and training sessions
- Motivate and encourage members to achieve their fitness goals
- Support promotions, fitness events, and wellness programs
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a gym or fitness environment (preferred)
- Experience in personal training or group fitness instruction
- Familiarity with gym equipment and fitness assessment tools
- Experience working in hotels, fitness centers, or health clubs is an advantage
