Fit out - Quantity Surveyor / Site Engineer / Project Manager

Positions and role

Mandatory requirements

• GCC experience and practical interior fit-out experience are mandatory.
• Candidates with only general civil construction, infrastructure, road, structural, or building construction experience will not be considered.
• Candidates must be able to manage or coordinate projects from start to completion and understand fit-out execution and site coordination.
• Candidates must coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients and read drawings and project specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadlines and pressure are required.
• English communication is required for professional coordination with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate interior fit-out projects from start to completion.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, scope of work, and project requirements; prepare or review quantities, estimates, quotations, and cost analyses.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams; plan activities, manpower, materials, procurement, and resources.
• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate multiple fit-out trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality, cost, and programme; manage variations, additional works, measurements, and commercial matters.
• Identify site issues, technical problems, scope gaps, and project risks.
• Ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
• Conduct inspections, snagging, rectification, testing, and handover; prepare reports and project documentation and support project close-out.

Relevant fit-out experience

• Practical experience may include gypsum partitions and ceilings, false ceilings, flooring and tiling, joinery and carpentry, painting and decorative finishes, glass and aluminium, doors and ironmongery, and wall finishes.
• Other relevant areas include MEP coordination, custom joinery, renovation, and refurbishment works.
• Tamil, English, Hindi, or Malayalam communication is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500–6,000 per month.
