Job Summary- FitOut Estimator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bespoke Fitout Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for high-end interior fitout, joinery, and bespoke furniture projects.
The role requires strong technical understanding, coordination with suppliers and production teams, and the ability to work within deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery, fitout, and furniture works.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material calculations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals and tender documents.
- Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with design, production, and project management teams.
- Maintain updated costing databases for materials, hardware, finishes, and labor.
- Assist in value engineering and budgeting exercises.
- Attend site visits and client meetings when required.
- Ensure all quotations are completed within the required timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in fitout estimation.
- Strong knowledge of interior fitout materials, joinery production, and furniture detailing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of UAE market rates and suppliers is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Preferred Skills**
- Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial fitout projects.
- Knowledge of custom furniture production and material finishes.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
