Fit-Out Construction Manager
will be responsible for leading and managing all fit-out construction activities on site, ensuring works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, project schedules, and client requirements, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline.
Key Accountabilities
- The position involves:
- Lead and supervise all fit-out and architectural construction activities on site from initiation to handover.
- Manage daily site operations to ensure work progress aligns with approved schedules, quality standards, and project objectives.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, design, and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution of fit-out works.
- Review and monitor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and construction sequences before execution.
- Ensure proper execution of ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, furniture, decorative works, and all interior fit-out activities.
- Monitor subcontractors performance, productivity, manpower allocation, and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications, mock-ups, and client expectations.
- Identify project risks, site constraints, delays, and technical issues, and implement corrective and recovery actions when required.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve construction and site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality procedures, and company standards across all site activities.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of fit-out works.
- Support testing, snagging, inspections, and handover activities to achieve successful project close-out.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and construction updates for management.
- Control site resources, material usage, and construction costs to support project profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of construction records, reports, RFIs, and site instructions.
