First Year Intern

We’re excited to welcome first-year students to explore internship opportunities across a variety of departments within our organization.

Interns will apply generally and be matched with one or more service areas based on their skills, interests, and availability.

• Marketing Office

• President's Office
• Commission of External Affairs
• Clubs Commission
• Commission of Environmental Sustainability

• Food Bank
• Communications Office

Responsibilities will vary depending on the service area and commitment level, but may include:

• Supporting ongoing projects and team initiatives
• Conducting research and presenting finding
• Assisting with administrative or operational tasks
• Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas
• Learning and applying relevant tools, platforms, or methodologies

• Currently enrolled as a first-year student at Queen's University
• Must meet general AMS eligibility requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• No prior AMS experience required

• Exposure to real-world work environments
• Work alongside Queen’s students on campus
