Required qualifications and capabilities
- QE LNG Safety Training Card required.
- Must be trained and competent to operate fire safety equipment and ensure equipment is available and functional.
- Must be competent to use gas-detection equipment and understand emergency procedures.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in an emergency and safely check, start, and isolate assigned job-associated machinery.
- Must read, write, and speak English and communicate with the majority of the workforce in their language.
- Must remain alert and vigilant for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Monitor areas for potential fire hazards.
- Operate fire safety equipment and ensure it is available and functional.
- Use gas-detection equipment and safely handle assigned machinery checks, startup, and isolation.
