• The company specializes in commercial fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire extinguishers for organizations, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and responsive support.

This Role -

Responsibilities

• will include fault-finding, testing, and maintenance of systems, as well as completing accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves planned and reactive (call out) service visits.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Fire and/or Security Engineering, including installation, and maintenance of fire alarms and electronic security systems.
• Understanding of network security, particularly for IP-based CCTV, access control, and integrated security platforms.
• Practical experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and Intruder alarms mainly in commercial environments, including fault-finding and testing.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., BS standards, health and safety, best and safe working practices).
• Ability to read technical drawings, system schematics, and to complete clear electronic service reports and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach when working on customers sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Leicestershire, the Midlands, and surrounding areas as required.
• A relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in fire and security systems or electrical engineering woud be an advantage.
