About This Role
First: General Responsibilities
- Attend and respond to all airport emergencies at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport (DIA).
- Attend department-related Health & Safety meetings.
- Act as Operations Lead and attend ongoing business meetings with HIA Safety in the absence of the Operations Supervisor.
- Ensure the required Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Category (CAT) protection level is maintained in terms of vehicles, equipment, firefighting agents, and personnel during shift hours, in compliance with QCAR 006 (as amended) and TRA instructions.
- Supervise and control staff leave to ensure minimum manpower availability required for compliance at both airports.
- Ensure availability and readiness of firefighting and breathing apparatus / rescue equipment.
- Ensure all Fire Department staff assigned to vehicles are certified and qualified to operate their designated vehicles.
- Ensure Airside Vehicle Operator Permits (AVOP) for all department personnel are valid and up to date.
- Ensure all employees are medically fit to perform their duties in compliance with QCAR 006 (as amended).
- Inform the Operations Manager of any deficiencies or shortcomings in section performance.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the competent authority (DFRD) or the Operations Manager.
Second: Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and practices, meeting and exceeding regulatory and legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and advice to staff regarding Health & Safety legislation and organizational policies.
- Conduct investigations into industrial accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the development, review, and auditing of a comprehensive Health & Safety Policy, including:
- o Risk assessments for all firefighting tasks (excluding training).
- o Manual handling risk assessments.
- o Working-at-height risk assessments.
- o Risk assessments for the operation of all firefighting equipment.
- o COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessments and any other required evaluations.
Duties
- Perform watch duties during periods of severe manpower shortage.
Fourth: Officer Duties
- Perform Senior Officer duties in accordance with the approved shift roster.
- Act as Incident Commander (Person-in-Charge) in the absence of the Senior Officer.
Fifth: Training Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Training Department to ensure all crew members attend mandatory training courses in accordance with the Red Kite system.
- Deliver and conduct theoretical and practical tactical firefighting training, as well as airport familiarization tours for all watches, to enhance individual skills, knowledge, and operational readiness.
- Monitor and follow up on response time tests on a monthly basis.
- Record all conducted training courses in the Red Kite system.
- Perform any other duties requested by the Operations Manager in support of the Training Team.
Experience
- Airport Fire Fighting Services Operations – Category CAT 10.
- Academic qualification: Not required
- Proficiency in the English language in accordance with QCAR 006 (as amended), ADR.OPS.B.024, and Hamad International Airport (HIA) / Doha International Airport (DIA) Manuals
- Communication Certificate issued by the Airport Operating Authority
Required Specialized Training
- Firefighter Course
• Crew Leader Course
- Manager Course
- Supervisor Course (if available).

- أولاً: عامة
- الحضور والاستجابة لجميع حالات الطوارئ بالمطارات في كل من مطار حمد الدولي (HIA) ومطار الدوحة الدولي (DIA).
- حضور اجتماعات الصحة والسلامة الخاصة بالإدارة.
- حضور اجتماعات الأعمال الجارية مع سلامة مطار حمد الدولي في حال غياب مشرف العمليات/رئيس العمليات.
- ضمان توفر مستوى الحماية المطلوب لفئة المطار (CAT) من حيث عدد المركبات والمعدات ووسائط الإطفاء والأفراد خلال ساعات النوبة، وفقاً لمتطلبات QCAR 006 بصيغته المعدلة وتعليمات TRA.
- الإشراف والتحكم في جميع إجازات الأفراد لضمان توفر الحد الأدنى من القوى البشرية اللازمة للامتثال للمعايير في كلا المطارين.
- ضمان توفر وجاهزية معدات الإنقاذ/الإطفاء وأجهزة التنفس.
- التأكد من أن جميع أفراد إدارة الإطفاء المخصصين للمركبات معتمدون ومؤهلون لقيادة المركبات المخصصة لهم.
- التأكد من أن تصاريح قيادة المركبات الجوية (AVOP) لجميع أفراد الإدارة سارية ومحدثة.
- التأكد من أن جميع الموظفين لائقون طبياً لأداء مهامهم وفقاً لمتطلبات QCAR 006 بصيغته المعدلة.
- إحاطة رئيس العمليات بأي قصور أو خلل في أداء القسم.
- تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يتم تكليفه بها من قبل الإدارة المختصة (DFRD) أو رئيس العمليات.
- ثانياً: الصحة والسلامة
- ضمان الالتزام الكامل بسياسات وممارسات الصحة والسلامة وتطبيقها بما يحقق ويَفوق المتطلبات النظامية والقانونية.
- تقديم المشورة للموظفين فيما يتعلق بتشريعات الصحة والسلامة وسياسة الصحة والسلامة الخاصة بالمؤسسة.
- إجراء التحقيقات في الحوادث الصناعية والإصابات والحالات الخطرة، والتوصية بالإجراءات اللازمة لمنع تكرارها.
- ضمان إعداد سياسة شاملة للصحة والسلامة ومراجعتها وتدقيقها بشكل دوري، بما يشمل: تقييم المخاطر لجميع المهام التي ينفذها رجال الإطفاء (باستثناء التدريب).
- تقييمات المناولة اليدوية.
- تقييمات العمل على الارتفاعات.
- تقييم المخاطر لتشغيل جميع المعدات المستخدمة في خدمات الإطفاء.
- تقييمات المواد الخطرة (COSHH) وأي تقييمات أخرى حسب الحاجة.
- ثالثاً: واجبات النوبات (Watch)
- تنفيذ واجبات النوبة في حالات النقص الشديد في القوى البشرية.
- رابعاً: واجبات الضباط
- أداء مهام الضابط الأقدم وفق جدول المناوبات المعتمد.
- العمل كمسؤول ميداني عن الحادث (Person-in-Charge) في حال غياب الضابط الأقدم.
- خامسا: التدريب
- التنسيق مع إدارة التدريب لضمان التحاق جميع أفراد الطواقم بالدورات التدريبية الإلزامية حسب نظام Red Kite.
- تقديم وتنفيذ التدريب النظري والعملي التكتيكي على الإطفاء، وجولات التعريف بالمطار، لجميع أفراد النوبات، بهدف تعزيز المهارات الفردية والمعرفة والحفاظ على الجاهزية التشغيلية.
- متابعة اختبارات زمن الاستجابة بشكل شهري.
- تسجيل جميع الدورات التدريبية التي يتم تنفيذها في نظام Red Kite.
- تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يطلبها رئيس العمليات لدعم فريق التدريب.
- الخبرة المطلوبة
- المؤهل الدراسي غير مطلوب.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية وفقًا للائحة QCAR 006 المعدلة ADR.OPS.B.024 ودليل مطاري حمد والدوحة.
- شهادة اتصالات صادرة عن الجهة المشغله للمطار
- شهادات معتمدة في مجال الطيران
- التدريب المتخصص المطلوب :
- دورة رجل إطفاء.
- دورة قائد فريق.
- دورة قائد مناوبة.
- دورة كبير ضباط (إن وجدت).
