Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Engineer role with a client team in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and system layouts.
- Ensure fire protection systems comply with safety standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
- Inspect fire fighting equipment, alarm panels, detectors, sprinklers, pumps, and related systems.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work meets approved specifications.
- Prepare inspection reports, testing records, and technical documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Knowledge of fire protection and fire alarm systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with relevant fire safety standards and project specifications.
- Good technical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Must currently be based in Qatar.
Salary
- QAR 7,000 per month; the listed pay range is QAR 6,000–7,000 per month.
