We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm & Firefighting Systems Engineer to join our team in Qatar.
The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in fire protection systems, testing & commissioning, maintenance, and project coordination, along with a valid QCDD certification.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Qatar Civil Defence standards and delivering high-quality fire protection solutions across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, install, test, commission, and maintain Fire Alarm & Firefighting systems.
- Ensure all systems comply with QCDD regulations, NFPA standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams during execution.
- Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection reports.
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and system diagnostics.
- Attend client and consultant meetings regarding project execution and approvals.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Support procurement and material selection related to fire protection systems.
- Ensure all safety procedures and documentation are properly maintained.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Mandatory valid QCDD Certification.
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Fire Alarm & Firefighting systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, QCDD regulations, and international fire safety standards.
- Experience in testing & commissioning of fire protection systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
