FINS Workday Data Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data conversion workstreams for Workday Financials.
• Conduct data profiling, collation, transformation, mapping, and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain data templates, mapping documents, and conversion strategies.
• Partner with functional consultants to understand financial processes and data requirements.
• Execute data loads using Workday EIB, and other integration tools.
• Perform conversion smoke tests and liaise with client stakeholders to secure data conversion sign off.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transaction processes
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials data conversion.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures (e.g., general ledger balances, suppliers, customers, open AP & AR invoices, assets and leases).
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, and data transformation tools.
• Familiarity with Workday EIB, Core Connectors is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
