Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finishing Foreman role based in Riyadh.
The Finishing Foreman will oversee all finishing works on construction or fit-out projects, including carpentry, surface preparation, painting coordination, and final detailing to meet quality standards.
The role involves planning daily activities, assigning tasks to finishing crews, supervising the use of tools and heavy equipment, and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and in line with project specifications.
The Finishing Foreman will inspect completed work, identify defects, coordinate rectifications, and liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
Daily responsibilities also include monitoring material usage, supporting maintenance of tools and equipment, enforcing health and safety procedures, and preparing brief progress updates.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including the ability to lead finishing teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and enforce safety and quality standards.
- Hands-on carpentry skills and experience with interior finishing activities, including installation of doors, frames, trims, and related elements.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment and power tools used in finishing and fit-out works, and the ability to ensure their safe and proper operation.
- Basic maintenance skills to support the upkeep of tools, equipment, and work areas, ensuring reliability and safety on site.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with site management, subcontractors, and crew members, and to provide clear instructions and feedback.
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar role in construction or fit-out projects, preferably on medium to large-scale developments.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Understanding of site safety regulations and finishing-related quality standards, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in civil, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project priorities.
