Hiring: Fine Dining Head Chef
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Chef to lead the culinary development and kitchen operations of an exciting fine dining concept in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mediterranean and seafood cuisine, with a strong understanding of live-fire cooking, open kitchen operations, and premium guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, curate, and continuously refine seasonal menus.
- Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency.
- Source and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Manage food costing, inventory, purchasing, and kitchen budgets.
- Recruit, train, and lead kitchen teams.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and operational excellence.
- Work hands-on during service and lead by example.
- Collaborate closely with management on concept development and execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional culinary experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE.
- Proven background in fine dining establishments.
- Strong expertise in Mediterranean and seafood cuisine.
- Experience with flame grilling, charcoal cooking, wood-fired concepts, or live-fire kitchens.
- Demonstrated ability to create menus, manage suppliers, and oversee full kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Position Details
- Contract duration: 6–8 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term role.
