We are Hiring: Finastra Equation Core Banking Developer \| Sharjah, UAE
We’re looking for a Finastra Equation Developer to join a leading financial institution in Sharjah.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing and modernizing core banking systems, driving digital transformation, and delivering seamless banking experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and customize solutions within the Finastra Equation core banking system
- Build and manage integrations with external systems, payment gateways, and digital platforms (APIs & web services)
- Develop and optimize RPG, RPGLE, and CLLE code on IBM i (AS400)
- Provide L2/L3 support and resolve complex technical issues
- Write and manage advanced SQL queries and DB2 databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Finastra Equation development
- Strong expertise in IBM iSeries (AS400), RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, and SQL
- Solid understanding of core banking modules (Retail, Corporate, Lending, Trade Finance, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with APIs, REST/SOAP services, and system integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
