Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Personal Finance Advisor / Certified Financial Planner® to work on a contractor basis.

The selected candidate will apply their financial expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems by reviewing realistic financial planning scenarios.

This work directly shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform in finance-related domains.

Candidates must hold a CFP certification or equivalent credentials and possess hands-on experience in financial planning, debt management, and retirement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review realistic financial planning scenarios that reflect everyday client conversations, covering budgets, emergency funds, debt payoff, retirement planning, tax implications, and investment strategies.
  • Evaluate AI-generated financial advice for accuracy, suitability, clarity, and adherence to fiduciary standards.
  • Provide written feedback on AI outputs to improve model reasoning and decision-making in financial contexts.
  • Collaborate with a global network of domain experts to refine AI training data and evaluation criteria.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and ethical standards in all assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) certification or equivalent credential from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in personal financial advising, budgeting, retirement planning, or debt management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assess and critique financial advice models.
  • Experience working with financial software, spreadsheets, and documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with fiduciary standards, risk assessment, and compliance in financial services.
  • Remote work capability with reliable internet access and time zone flexibility.
