About This Role
Overview
Rojna Center is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Financial Systems Accountant to join our finance team in Doha.
This role bridges accounting and technology, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and optimization of financial systems and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate combines strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in financial software and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial systems to ensure accurate and reliable financial data processing
- Oversee system configuration related to accounting, reporting, and controls
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities through system-driven processes
- Identify and resolve system issues affecting financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance system performance and automation
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and data extracts
- Ensure data integrity across ERP and accounting platforms
- Support implementation of new financial systems, upgrades, and integrations
- Document financial system processes, controls, and user guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial systems accounting, ERP systems, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience in system implementation or ERP migration projects
- Knowledge of financial controls and process automation
- Ability to work collaboratively across finance and IT functions
- Experience in service-based or retail environments is an advantage
