Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Financial Documents Specialist (Portuguese) to work on a contractual basis.

This role involves reviewing, interpreting, and preparing financial documents in Portuguese for global clients in the technology and finance sectors.

The work ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports accurate financial reporting.

Attention to detail and fluency in Portuguese are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify financial documents, including invoices, contracts, and receipts, for accuracy and completeness in Portuguese.
  • Extract and organize key financial data from documents to support client reporting and auditing processes.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors in financial documents and communicate findings to stakeholders for resolution.
  • Ensure all processed documents adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements in alignment with client policies.
  • Maintain organized digital records of processed documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with strong comprehension of financial terminology in both languages.
  • Prior experience reviewing, interpreting, or preparing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, or contracts.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) for data entry and validation.
  • Familiarity with financial compliance standards, such as GAAP or IFRS, and attention to regulatory detail.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
