Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day Cash Collection operations, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of all inflows
• Process and manage employee payroll through the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) in compliance with MOHRE regulations
• Supervise and lead the Financial Accounting unit, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all reporting
• Prepare and review accounts reports, financial statements, and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Maintain the general ledger, manage journal entries, and perform bank reconciliations
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes in line with organizational deadlines
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant teams for collection follow-ups
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices within the accounting function
• Required skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Hands-on experience with UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) — non-negotiable
• Prior experience in a bank, exchange house, or financial institution strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and accounts operations
• Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally
