Financial Modelling Specialist
6-month initial contract - with extensions

We are currently supporting a leading organisation in the search for a Financial Modelling Specialist with 4–6 years of experience in financial modelling, corporate finance, consulting, FP&A, transaction advisory, private equity, or a similar analytical environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building robust financial models, analysing complex business scenarios, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, review, and refine financial models for business cases, transactions, and scenario analysis
- Develop dynamic Excel-based models covering revenue, cost, cash flow, valuation, and sensitivity analysis
- Translate commercial and operational assumptions into clear, flexible, and decision-ready outputs
- Partner with project teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and present findings
- Ensure strong modelling discipline through structured architecture, QA checks, documentation, and version control
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience within financial modelling, corporate finance, consulting, transaction advisory, infrastructure, private equity, or FP&A
- Strong Excel and analytical modelling skills
- Experience building financial models from scratch
- Ability to communicate complex outputs in a clear and commercial manner
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
