Financial Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial operations of the organization.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements for senior leadership.
• Monitor income, expenses, collections, payments, and financial performance.
• Oversee student fee collection records, outstanding balances, payment follow-ups, and reconciliations.
• Review and monitor daily accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, supplier payments, and financial documentation.
• Ensure proper recording of invoices, receipts, vouchers, bank transactions, and supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and relevant external parties when required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Previous experience as a Financial Manager, Finance Supervisor, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
• Experience in a school, educational institution, or service-based organization is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prepare clear financial reports and present information to senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial documentation procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and follow-up skills.

• Able to manage financial operations independently and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership.
• Organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
• Strong in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and reporting.
• Able to improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Professional in communication and able to coordinate with management, staff, parents, vendors, banks, and auditors.
• Previous experience in an international school or educational organization is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼25,000.00 per month.
