Duties

• Coordinate with Headquarters staff to develop and execute annual spend plans for assigned programs of record.
• Issue timely and accurate financial documents, monitor obligation rates and open commitments, and maintain audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with fiscal law, financial management regulations, higher headquarters directives, and published policy.
• Conduct financial analysis and help resolve errors and common problems in the financial system of record.

Conditions and qualifications

• The notice states that applicants must be U.S. citizens and suitable for federal employment.
• Obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET clearance before entering on duty.
• GS-11 qualification: at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-9, covering financial analysis, resolving funding discrepancies, training, and briefings.
• GS-12 qualification: at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-11, including financial system error analysis, resolving funding discrepancies, training, and briefings.
• The role may require travel to domestic or overseas locations and extended travel on military or commercial aircraft.
• The role may require nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or unusual duty hours to meet mission requirements.
• Ad-hoc or situational telework may be available at management discretion.
