Overview

Interim Finance Controller (Urgent – Immediate Joiners Only)

Duration

: 2–3 months (extendable)

We are engaging a senior Finance Controller for a multi-entity group environment requiring strong expertise in IFRS reporting, group consolidation, UAE regulatory compliance, and end-to-end financial governance.

This role is designed for experienced finance professionals who have independently led group finance functions in complex, multinational or multi-subsidiary organizations.

It is not an assistant or support role.

It requires full ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing across multiple group entities
  • Prepare IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements
  • Own intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations
  • Deliver executive and board-level MIS reporting packs
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis cycles
  • Ensure UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance across entities
  • Manage audit coordination (internal and external) end-to-end
  • Oversee treasury operations, liquidity monitoring, and working capital
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks
  • Work across ERP platforms including SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Drive automation and finance transformation initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • We are targeting professionals with:
  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification (mandatory)
  • 8–15+ years of finance experience in structured environments
  • Proven ownership of group consolidation and IFRS reporting
  • Strong UAE VAT and Corporate Tax exposure
  • Experience in multi-entity / multinational structures
  • Direct audit ownership experience (Big 4 preferred)
  • Strong ERP exposure (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics 365)
  • Experience delivering board-level financial reporting
