Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Specialist to join the head office finance team.
The role will focus on financial reporting, financial analysis, advanced Excel modelling, and supporting strategic decision-making, with exposure to a contracting/construction environment preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports for management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting templates, dashboards, and frameworks
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business performance
- Perform data extraction and analysis from ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)
- Build and maintain financial models using Excel to support forecasting and decision-making
- Review and validate financial models and assumptions for accuracy and consistency
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and reporting accuracy
- Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes (including data-driven / AI-supported reporting tools where applicable)
- Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in finance, financial reporting, or controlling roles
- Strong experience in financial analysis and management reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling (must be strong)
- ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Data extraction and reporting tools
