FINANCIAL CONTROLLER & INCOME AUDITOR

Role overview

Income auditing

• Verify daily sales reports from restaurants, cafés, bars, and other F&B operations.
• Reconcile POS sales with cash, credit card transactions, online delivery platforms, and other payment methods.
• Review discounts, complimentary items, voids, refunds, and promotional offers for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Identify and report discrepancies, unusual transactions, and potential revenue leakage.
• Ensure daily revenue reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time; maintain supporting records.

Finance and accounting duties

• Assist with daily revenue reconciliation and basic accounting entries.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor operational expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and management report preparation.
• Coordinate with restaurant operations, cashiers, outlet managers, and finance colleagues to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized documentation and follow company financial controls and procedures.

Cost control and monitoring

• Assist with monitoring food and beverage costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
• Support inventory checks and stock reconciliation when required.
• Help identify opportunities to improve financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Follow up on outstanding financial discrepancies and support timely resolution.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, income auditing, or finance within the F&B or hospitality sector.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with POS systems, Excel, and basic accounting software is an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills; strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Honest, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different departments.
• A growth mindset, positive attitude, and genuine interest in professional development.

Pay

• Pay is AED 4,000–4,500 per month.
