- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel and catering industry standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial fraud within the hospitality environment.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, optimizing cash flow and supplier relationships critical for hotel and catering operations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of departmental performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies specific to hotels and catering.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements and management reports to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, local laws, and industry-specific financial reporting requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate compensation for hotel and catering staff.
- Oversee inventory valuation and control for food, beverage, and other hotel supplies to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
