Financial Controller

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join our Doha office. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate reporting, and providing financial insights that support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, reporting, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes
• Develop and maintain strong internal control systems and financial policies
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements in Qatar
• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel
