Financial Analyst

Role

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational data using finance systems and protocols; create and monitor budgets and identify trends, variances, and forecasts.
• Support accounting activities by classifying, measuring, and recording transactions.
• Develop database reports and financial reporting outputs; retrieve, organize, protect, and process data.
• Analyze trends and prepare reports for decisions and business planning; support financial policies, guidelines, and protocols.
• Respond to finance inquiries, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex matters.

Requirements

• Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis processes.
• Intermediate financial analysis capability and knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial planning.
• Understanding of financial accounting principles and transaction processing.
• Experience with data control, data management, information retrieval, database reporting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business software; effective communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.

Working pattern

Compensation

• The posted base pay range for Toronto is CAD $62,000 to $103,300; no compensation cadence is specified.
