Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.
This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
- Prepare accounting reports, projections, and financial models/feasibility studies to evaluate new real estate investment opportunities.
- Assess the financial feasibility of development projects, considering costs, returns, and risk factors.
- Monitor and analyze real estate market trends, demographic data, and economic indicators.
- Identify financial performance trends and risks, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Recommend actions by interpreting data and performing comparative analyses.
- Analyze inventory and produce monthly reports including key metrics and variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: CFA Certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4–8 years of professional experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), investment banking, or related fields.
- Industry Knowledge: Must possess sound Finance and Accounting knowledge, specifically in real estate, construction, and property development industries.
