Role description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports.
• Monitor production and operational costs and support pricing decisions for profitability and cost control.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze variances and provide clear recommendations to management.
• Review transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and management to gather financial data.
• Contribute to process improvement and support audits.
• Prepare regular financial and cost analysis reports for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting and financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, management accounting, and detailed cost and profitability reports.
• Ability to work with ERP or accounting systems, advanced Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of standard accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work and presenting findings.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as CMA or CFA are an advantage.
• Experience in food production, catering, or manufacturing is preferred, with familiarity in cost of goods and inventory control.
