Role overview

Financial analysis and modeling

• Develop and maintain financial models for real estate development, infrastructure investments, and strategic business opportunities.
• Support feasibility studies, investment analysis, valuations, cash-flow forecasting, and business case development.
• Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and risk analyses to support decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Support due diligence and transaction-related analyses.

Development and market research

• Evaluate residential, commercial, mixed-use, and master-planned community developments.
• Assist with land acquisition analysis, development pro formas, and project feasibility assessments.
• Monitor market trends, development activity, and competitive conditions.
• Research industry trends, development activity, financing markets, and economic conditions.

Collaboration and reporting

• Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Work with development, construction, operations, legal, and finance teams.
• Support interactions with lenders, investors, consultants, partners, and external advisors.
• Prepare presentations and reports for investors and the Board of Directors.
• Manage and prepare quarterly valuation materials and present analyses to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Urban Land Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
• One to three years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, corporate finance, real estate development, accounting, banking, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in real estate development, infrastructure, investments, and business growth.
• Exposure to real estate development, project finance, valuation, or capital planning is preferred.
• Experience preparing financial models, pro formas, budgets, or investment analyses is preferred.
• Understanding of development, construction, or investment industries is preferred.
• Progress toward a CPA, CFA, CBV, or related professional designation is an asset.
