ROLE SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst supports the Business Development function through research, financial analysis, and feasibility assessments of new business opportunities. The role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, conducting market and competition analysis, and preparing feasibility models and approval documentation to support strategic decision-making.

ROLE PROFILE

• Conduct market research and competition mapping to evaluate new brand and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain feasibility templates , including benchmarking against existing business data and providing high-level insights.
• Perform financial analysis and deep dives on existing business performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare Internal Approval Notes (IANs) and supporting documentation for business case submissions.
• Manage and maintain data capture, validation, and reporting , ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Identify key insights and trends from data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Capital , to support initiatives such as incentive planning.
• Monitor customer trends and market dynamics to ensure feasibility studies align with evolving business needs.
• Ensure high standards of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and timely delivery of analysis.
• Support the business in achieving the “Dare Today, Change Tomorrow” sustainability strategy.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective information flow.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field .
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or similar roles .
• Strong skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools , particularly Excel.
• Experience in market research and feasibility analysis .
• Retail industry experience is an advantage.
