Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models for profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheets, depreciation, IRR, NPV, payback, and other performance indicators.
- Analyze hotel financial statements and operational and financial performance.
- Conduct desk research and field visits to analyze market, operational, and financial data.
- Benchmark project assumptions and projections against databases, research, and industry performance.
- Prepare sections and substantial portions of client reports.
- Promote HotStats to clients, hoteliers, and industry professionals.
- Present financial findings and recommendations in reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality or tourism operations, development, or consulting; similar-organization experience is preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, accounting, forecasting, and Excel skills.
- Good understanding of hotel operations, financial statements, investment appraisal, IRR, NPV, payback, and key financial metrics.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across the MENA region.
