Role Description
The Financial Analyst role at Pelago UAE is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
In this role, the Financial Analyst prepares, analyzes, and interprets financial statements and reports to support decision-making and client advisory services.
Day-to-day responsibilities include building financial models, conducting variance and trend analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities for internal and client projects.
The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with senior finance professionals to assess business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
The role also involves ensuring accuracy of financial data, supporting compliance with local regulations, and presenting clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Finance skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic advisory work.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, build financial models, and provide actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Excel and financial modeling tools, along with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Experience in UAE or regional regulatory and tax frameworks, including VAT, is beneficial.
